Local authority in central London currently require an interim head of strategic asset management for an initial period of three months (likely to be longer).
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and provide an effective Project, Programme and Performance Management function for the Council wide Capital Programme that supports and challenges each service area on quality and delivery, co-ordinates and reports regularly on performance, and manages the overarching project management function and systems for all projects to provide a strategic overview of delivery.
- Spearhead the Strategic Asset Management function for the Council wide Asset Management Strategy, ensuring optimal asset utilisation, data-driven decision-making to inform asset management initiatives, and ensure alignment of asset management practices with the Council’s overall strategic objectives.
- Oversee the department’s Procurement and Contracts function, ensuring strategic sourcing and procurement that delivers value for money, compliance with procurement regulations and best practices, and effective contract management to mitigate risks and optimise performance.
Inside IR35 £700 per day. Initially three months. Hybrid Working.
