Local authority in Cambridgeshire are currently looking for an interim senior building control surveyor. £75 an hour, 37 hours per week, 6 months initially. Minimum validation would be 2A. Hybrid working, 2 days office to do inspections.
Purpose of the role: Deliver high quality services to the client in line with national quality standards, legislation, regulation, best practice, statutory obligations and organisational objectives through:
- Securing the health, safety, welfare and convenience of persons in or about buildings and of others who may be affected by buildings or matters connected with building
- Furthering the conservation of fuel and power
- Preventing waste, undue consumption, misuse or contamination of water
- Furthering the protection or enhancement of the environment
- Facilitating sustainable development
- Furthering the prevention or detection of crime
