The predicted salary is between 57528 - 64750 £ per year.
This is a key role within the Trust's Capital, Estates and Facilities function, providing professional fire safety leadership across a complex healthcare estate. You will ensure the Trust has the right assurance, governance and compliance arrangements in place, supporting safe environments for patients, staff, visitors and service users.
You will lead on the implementation and continuous improvement of fire safety policies, systems, procedures and emergency plans, while providing expert advice across capital schemes, refurbishment works, fire risk assessments, training, audits and statutory reporting. You will also bring senior management experience, the ability to work across a multi-site estate, and the confidence to advise, challenge and influence colleagues, contractors and external partners.
Qualifications
Healthcare fire safety experience is essential, ideally gained within an NHS or mental health environment. You will need strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, fire risk assessment, Building Regulations, HTM guidance and relevant codes of practice, alongside suitable fire safety qualifications. This role would suit an experienced fire safety professional who can combine technical knowledge with strong leadership, judgement and stakeholder engagement.
