Looking for an opportunity where your electrical expertise genuinely makes a difference? Insight Executive is recruiting for an Engineering Manager – Electrical to lead engineering operations on a major healthcare site in Liverpool. This is a critical role where reliability, compliance, and performance directly support patient care in a fast-paced acute hospital environment.

You’ll be based onsite, five days per week, leading a team of seven engineering professionals, including a Supervisor and six Electrical Engineers, ensuring electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards while driving operational excellence across the site.

  • Additional £2,750 for AP (Low Voltage and/or High Voltage) qualifications
  • On-call allowance up to £2,000 per year (1 in 5 weekend rota)

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Healthcare engineering experience within an Acute Hospital environment (essential)
  • Strong electrical engineering leadership experience
  • AP (LV and/or HV) qualifications would be highly desirable
  • Experience leading teams and managing operational performance in a critical environment
  • Comfortable working on site five days a week in a hospital environment
