Insight Employment is seeking Pickers & Packers to work for a rapidly growing local client in the Banbury area. This role requires working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, picking and packing stock accurately, and placing goods onto pallets.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack raw and frozen boxed meat using a manual pick sheet.
- Work in chilled and blast freezer temperatures (between -18°C and -25°C) for a maximum of 10 minutes per shift.
- Ensure accuracy and speed while handling high volume orders.
- Place finished goods onto pallets following safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous picking and packing experience.
- Ability to pick and pack at speed and accuracy.
- Physically fit to lift heavy items.
- Good written and oral English skills.
- Comfortable working in chilled and blast freezer temperatures.
- Wearing safety boots and hi‑vis clothing is mandatory.
Availability & Shift Details
- 40 hours per week (Monday – Thursday) with occasional Sunday work.
- Mid shift: 14:00 – 00:30.
- Night shift: 17:00 – 03:30.
- Sunday shift: 10:00 – 15:30.
- Regular breaks are provided due to temperature conditions.
Compensation
£12.71 per hour.
