Qualified Nursery Nurse

Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Nurse Location: Croydon Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 Job Type: [Full-time / Part-time / Permanent / Temporary] Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care and education for young children. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality, a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and the ability to create a safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework. * Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development. * Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, including their health and well-being. * Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, maintaining accurate records. * Work in partnership with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure children's individual needs are met. * Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times. * Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and nap schedules. * Promote positive behaviour and social skills in line with nursery policies. * Contribute to planning and team meetings, sharing ideas for continuous improvement. Requirements: * Level 3 Early Years Qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent). * Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting. * Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development. * A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children. * Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues. * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). * Up-to-date Safeguarding and First Aid training (preferred).
