Responsibilities

Contracts and Documentation

  • Prepare and manage sales/purchase contracts and invoices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, L/Cs).

Shipment Coordination

  • Oversee shipment logistics and liaise with clients, suppliers, and shipping lines.
  • Manage delivery schedules and freight quotes.

Financial Operations

  • Handle payment methods: L/Cs, Bills of Exchange, D/P, TT, and Open Accounts.
  • Open, amend, and negotiate L/Cs; liaise with banks for payment and financing.

Certifications and Inspections

  • Issue Certificates of Insurance, Origin, and EUR.1.
  • Coordinate inspections at loading/discharge ports.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Update shipping schedules, freight rates, and booking systems.
  • Conduct profit and loss calculations and track contract status.
