A leading multinational Metals & Minerals Trading team in London are looking for an experienced Metals Operator to join their well-established, expanding team. This is a hands-on, end-to-end operations role, covering physical commodity flows across Europe.
What you'll be doing:
- Executing and administering sales and purchase contracts
- Arranging road, rail, barge and sea freight logistics
- Managing Bills of Lading, customs clearance and trade documentation
- Handling invoicing, FX receivables and payment processing
- Coordinating assay exchanges and provisional pricing settlements
- Working with SAP and driving automation of administrative processes
What we're looking for:
- Previous Physical Operations / Shipping / Contracts experience in a trading environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent English communication skills
- Advanced Excel desirable; SAP experience a bonus
- Exposure to bulk metals and concentrates commodities is a strong advantage
