Seeking a EN4179-qualified NDT Inspector (Visual and Dye Penetrant) to evaluate the structural integrity of safety-critical aerospace components for a 6 month assignment working nights 40 hours a week Monday to Thursday on a 16:30 till 02:30 shift pattern.
Core Responsibilities:
- Inspection Execution: Perform Pre-Inspection Planning and execute Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) and Visual Testing (VT) to detect surface-breaking defects such as cracks, porosity, and lack of fusion.
- Component Evaluation: Evaluate and interpret test results against aerospace specifications, engineering drawings, and structural requirements.
- Defect Documentation: Create clear, accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed records of test results for traceability and airworthiness compliance.
- Process Compliance: Ensure all NDT activities strictly adhere to industry regulatory standards (e.g., EASA Part 145, Nadcap) and the employer's EN4179 written practice.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure PT lines, UV lighting, and testing equipment are calibrated, maintained, and operational.

Qualifications Required:
