We are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join our client’s expanding team in Coventry within the Aerospace and Automotive sector. This is a day shift role with an early Friday finish. Immediate weld tests for suitable applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG welding to a high standard
- Working with mild and stainless steel, and experience working with aluminium is advantageous
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Preparing, measuring and assembling metal components
- Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Working independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in both TIG welding
- Previous experience within welding, fabrication, in an aerospace or automotive environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, hard-working and safety-conscious attitude
- Relevant welding qualifications are advantageous
