About Voop
Awareness has never been higher about the damage smartphones can do to young people, yet almost no one is fixing it. Voop is building the world’s first safe mobile platform — a new kind of network that replaces traditional telcos and installs intelligent protection on any smartphone. By combining network-level controls, device-integrated safeguarding software, and AI-powered risk detection, Voop gives parents, carers, schools, and governments the ability to protect without over-restricting — all on the devices that children and adults already use and love. Our first product, Voop for Care, is live with leading care providers, protecting thousands of vulnerable children in the UK. Next, we’re expanding into schools and consumer markets to make digital safety the default, not the exception. Backed by leading global investors and built by a world‑class team of engineers, designers, and safeguarding experts, Voop is tackling one of the defining challenges of our time: creating a safer digital future at massive scale.
Why Voop
- Mission that matters: Build technology that directly protects children and saves lives.
- Massive opportunity: A $50B+ global market for safe connectivity, with active customers and real revenue.
- World‑class team: Alumni from Google, Accenture, Vodafone, Barnardo’s, and law enforcement.
- Momentum: Thousands of users onboarding, millions more in the pipeline.
- Top‑tier backing: Supported by global funds committed to fixing smartphones for good.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a creator‑builder hybrid: someone who can make exceptional content, set a creative vision, and grow meaningful communities around healthy, positive digital experiences for families. You’ll be Voop’s first dedicated content lead. You will create, design, film, edit, publish, and distribute content that shapes the national conversation about kids, phones, digital wellbeing and modern parenting. You’ll play a pivotal role in launching Voop for Parents and Voop for Schools, making content that cuts through and drives real reach. This role is perfect for an early‑career creator with real evidence of impact - someone who has built a large following, grown channels, or created a standout content series and wants to put that skill behind a major mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Voop’s content and social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and long‑form channels.
- Create high‑impact content yourself - video, design, scripts, motion, posts, short‑form series.
- Grow large organic followings, shaping a community of parents, teachers, safeguarding professionals and young people.
- Develop Voop’s voice: positive, empowering, honest, research‑backed, and family‑first.
- Turn complex topics (digital wellbeing, AI, behaviour change, policy, safeguarding) into simple, relatable, actionable content.
- Build an always‑on content engine aligned with product launches, press cycles and national conversations.
- Lead design across campaigns, social, landing pages, decks and visual identity.
- Experiment relentlessly: new formats, stunts, collaborations, creator partnerships, rapid‑fire ideas.
- Work closely with founders, PR and product teams to amplify reach and shape the narrative.
- Use analytics to test, learn and improve what resonates.
About you
- You’ve built something real: a successful TikTok/Instagram account, a YouTube channel, a content brand, a community, or a viral series.
- Strong skills in video creation and editing (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).
- Design instinct: social design, branding, visual storytelling, thumbnails, motion graphics (nice to have).
- Mission‑driven: you genuinely care about helping families and young people build healthier digital lives.
- A creator mindset: fast, resourceful, independent, able to craft content daily.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into accessible, human content.
- Comfortable behind or in front of the camera.
- High ambition: wants to build a category‑defining brand and movement.
Bonus points
- You’ve grown a personal or brand account to 100k+ followers on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube.
- You’ve built a content series that gained consistent traction (e.g., weekly formats, explainers, skits, interviews).
- Experience working with parents, educators, or youth‑focused audiences.
- You’ve run UGC campaigns, influencer outreach, or creator collaborations.
- Strong motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects, Lottie, etc.).
- You understand SEO or long‑form content (blog, newsletter, YouTube).
- Experience with brand identity, visual systems, or lightweight product design.
- Comfortable analysing performance data and optimising for reach and engagement.
- You’ve worked in a startup, mission‑driven organisation, or youth charity.
- You’ve been the “face” of a channel—or want to be.
