We are recruiting a Travel Operations Specialist for our global Booking Delivery Team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an administrator with strong travel operations knowledge and a passion for providing an excellent support service to our clients.
You will be securing services for client bookings, generating clients' final travel documents, and ensuring accurate preparation of all travel documentation using the most up-to-date information. You'll play a vital role in making sure that all services are booked appropriately and that final travel documents are produced and dispatched to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and external partners.
- Conduct quality checks of new bookings at the confirmation stage to ensure all services are booked correctly and all required client information is passed to suppliers.
- Enter accurate reservation details into AXUM to enable smooth generation of InfoâPacks for clients.
- Conduct quality checks of bookings prior to final document creation, verifying itineraries with suppliers and confirming all changes are captured.
- Generate InfoâPack documents, manually updating fields where necessary.
- Check InfoâPacks to ensure tickets are prepared and ready; pass them to Travel Consultants for final proof before sending.
- Assist with any group tour administration tasks as required.
- Monitor relevant work queues to ensure all tasks are delivered within required timeframes.
- Passion for Japan/Asia as a travel destination and a desire to help others discover the country.
- Strong geographical and logistical understanding of core destinations.
- Familiarity with processes involved in confirming a wide range of travel arrangements.
- Wellâdeveloped problemâsolving skills and the confidence to use initiative.
- Independence and organisation to handle a volume of complex tasks simultaneously.
- High productivity and accuracy under tight time pressures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in email, inâperson and on the phone.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
