Help build the organisation enabling insiders to reshape powerful industries

Inside Track is looking for a highly capable organisational generalist to work alongside its founder and play a central role in the organisation's next stage.

About Inside Track

Inside Track is a UK non-profit building confidential movements of senior professionals inside powerful industries. It creates protected spaces where people can share insights about the cultures, structures, norms and incentives holding their industries back, helps turn that insight into action for social and environmental change, and identifies where action could make a meaningful difference.

The organisation is growing quickly. This role will sit close to the centre of that growth, working as the founder's right hand across strategy, people and delivery.

It is not an administrative or traditional executive-support position. You will take ownership of difficult problems, help turn important decisions into action, manage and develop colleagues, create high-quality presentations and materials, deputise for the founder when required, and step into work that needs additional judgement, structure or momentum.

You will work directly with an experienced social entrepreneur who has built organisations and developed new approaches to change across business, philanthropy and civil society. You will be expected to contribute, challenge and take ownership from the outset.

For someone whose capability is ahead of their title, this is an opportunity to combine serious challenge with clearer purpose, gain unusually broad responsibility and help build an organisation with the potential to change how powerful institutions respond to their social and environmental impact.

Who this could suit

There is no single route into the role. It could suit someone from consulting, law, investment, professional services, corporate strategy or transformation, government, the public sector, a charity, start-up or founder-led organisation.

  • highly organised and able to make complex work move
  • an excellent thinker, writer and presenter
  • comfortable moving between strategy and detailed delivery
  • able to manage, teach, support and challenge other people
  • credible with senior people without being status-driven
  • warm, resilient, curious and low ego
  • effective when priorities change and there is no complete playbook
  • serious about using your ability to help drive positive social and environmental change

You do not need to have held a senior title. We are looking for evidence that you have progressed quickly, earned trust beyond your formal level and are ready to take meaningful responsibility early.

What Inside Track offers

  • coaching and support
  • substantial ownership from the outset
  • a genuine platform for achievement and progression
  • flexibility across three to five days per week
