The Opportunity
As our Head of E-commerce & Digital Experience, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of SEPHORA UK’s digital growth.
In a market of exceptional expansion, e-commerce is a strategic pillar of our business - driving customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty and profitable growth.
You’ll lead the strategy and evolution of our digital business across web and app, creating seamless, inspiring and commercially powerful experiences that bring the magic of SEPHORA to life online.
Working closely with Commercial, Marketing, Tech, Retail, Operations, CRM, Regional and Global teams, you’ll help position SEPHORA UK as one of the leading digital markets in Europe - championing innovation, customer obsession and best-in-class omnichannel thinking.
- What you’ll be doing…
- Build and drive SEPHORA UK’s e-commerce strategy, digital roadmap and growth priorities in line with business ambition and customer needs.
- Accelerate online sales, conversion, customer engagement and lifetime value, while balancing commercial performance with a best-in-class customer experience.
- Own and evolve the digital product roadmap across web and app, partnering closely with Tech to prioritise developments that deliver the greatest customer and business impact.
- Continuously improve the customer journey across personalisation, on-site merchandising, search, product discovery, UX, SEO, GEO, AI-enabled experiences and site performance.
- Lead the execution of digital campaigns, promotions, launches, drops, key trading moments and seasonal activations that excite customers and drive conversion.
- Build strategic growth plans with priority brand partners, maximising visibility opportunities and creating differentiated digital experiences.
- Champion innovation across digital beauty, testing new technologies, customer experiences, automation, agentic commerce and emerging retail trends.
- Ensure every digital touchpoint reflects SEPHORA’s premium positioning, unique curation and passion for beauty storytelling.
- Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Growth Management, Marketing, CRM, Retail, Brand, Operations, Customer Care and Technology to deliver seamless omnichannel journeys.
- Monitor and optimise digital P&L drivers including payment, shipping, fraud, returns and customer care, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and experience.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing e-commerce organisation, creating scalable ways of working and a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Act as a key interface with Regional and Global Digital teams, sharing best practice, driving alignment and positioning SEPHORA UK as an early adopter of global digital capabilities.

- Significant experience in a senior digital, e-commerce or omnichannel leadership role, ideally within a multi-brand retail environment.
- Deep expertise across e-commerce, digital product, customer experience and omnichannel retail.
- Proven track record of growing a digital business and delivering profitable commercial performance.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, web and app ecosystems, UX, SEO, product discovery, personalisation and site optimisation.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to connect customer insight, trading performance and business priorities.
- Experience leading digital campaigns, commercial activations, brand partnerships and online growth initiatives.
- Strong awareness of digital innovation, AI, automation and emerging commerce trends.
- Proven experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across complex, matrixed organisations.
- Experience working with external technology partners, agencies or strategic suppliers would be beneficial.
