The Opportunity:
The stockroom is the heart of our operations. As our next Inventory Control Assistant, you are fundamental to our business by providing support to manage the back of house and ensure it keeps ticking. This includes managing the inventory for the store including shipping, receiving and returning merchandise, cycle-counting, and ensuring all processes are finished in a timely manner.
Reporting Line: Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Inventory Controller
You’ll shine here if you:
- Have a passion to support your team to provide our customers with meaningful in-store experiences that build brand loyalty by tracking stock levels.
- Can accurately complete all paperwork procedures that are necessary for the store to function promptly.
- Are open to assist with periodic stocktakes in store and conduct necessary cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to support loss prevention strategies in store.
- Can manage all stock movements in and out of the store.
We would love to hear from you if:
- You have stock or inventory experience in a multi-serving fast pace retail environment.
- You have experience using SAP.
- You have a suitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weigh up to 15kg.
- An innate desire to help both internal and external customers comes naturally.
Please keep in mind that each of our stores has its own individual needs. As our busiest days of trade are between Thursday to Sunday, the ideal candidate will be able to provide 5 full days of availability across key trading times, including late-night and weekend availability.
