About the role
The Guinness Partnership is looking to recruit a Contract Officer to join a busy team on a full-time, nine-month fixed-term contract, based in London.
We currently offer hybrid working, blending 3 office days with 2 days working from home.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will join the Fire Risk and Compliance team within our Asset Management directorate.
This is an exciting opportunity which requires a strong, proven background in managing the relationship, performance, and legal obligations of the contractors delivering our fire safety requirements in relation to recommendations from fire risk assessments.
You must have the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise your workload to ensure we meet statutory requirements, emerging risks and budget constraints (month-end, etc).
As a Contract Officer, you will support the Contract Manager to deliver asset compliance services, providing assurance of compliance and contributing to our residents’ safety, satisfaction, and value for money.
Collectively, we deliver multi-million-pound projects, so an understanding of CDM regulations, health and safety, and project management experience is advantageous.

- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, tenants and staff across different functions.
- Awareness of statutory and regulatory fire safety requirements relating to asset compliance.

- Able to demonstrate Guinness behavioural competencies.
