We’re hiring a Marketing Executive for a 1 Year Fixed Term contract rotating through brand, CRM, content, and paid media to build a multi-market portfolio while driving active campaigns for the global leader in gig-economy insurance. This role is tailor-made for recent grads, college leavers and placement students ready to make an immediate commercial impact.
INSHUR is the embedded insurance powerhouse for the on-demand world. We partner with giants like Uber and Amazon to provide fair, data-backed coverage for the modern workforce. We’re 200 people strong across the UK, US, and Netherlands, using AI as a multiplier to stay ahead of the curve.
The role involves joining a small, busy team of three on a structured 12-month placement starting in September 2026. This is a genuine, hands-on role, not a shadow programme. You’ll be picking up live tasks from day one, rotating through brand, CRM, content, SEO, and paid media, and getting stuck in from the start. By the end of your placement, you’ll have built a real, varied portfolio and a clear pathway to a potential full-time role.
Reporting to our Head of Marketing, Beth, you’ll join a high-impact squad of three. We operate from our Brighton hub with a hybrid model, balancing 2-3 days of in-person collaboration with remote flexibility for the remainder of the week.
What you'll do
- Foundations & Brand: Master the INSHUR brand guidelines, execute competitor and customer research, and get hands-on with HubSpot CRM.
- Performance & CRM: Learn to build, scale, and analyze performance campaigns.
- Content & SEO: Drive organic audience engagement across our digital surfaces.
- Campaigns & Strategy: Lead an end-to-end marketing campaign with support from the team.
What we're looking for
We care more about how you think than what's on your CV. If you meet most of the essentials and are excited about the problem, apply.
Essential
- Growth Mindset: An eagerness to absorb constructive feedback, learn new digital platforms quickly, and tackle challenges proactively.
- Enthusiasm for Marketing: A genuine curiosity about how brand strategy, search optimization, and performance campaigns intersect to drive business growth.
- Strong Written Communication: The ability to craft clear, engaging copy that is highly empathetic to the needs and daily realities of on-demand drivers.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: An adaptable attitude where you can solve problems as you go without needing perfectly defined processes for everything.
- Proactive Initiative: A self-starting nature characterized by a desire to take the first step, propose ideas, and ask excellent questions.
- Data Comfort: Confidence working with metrics, spreadsheets, and digital dashboards to look for actionable audience trends.
Nice to have
- Fintech & Gig-Economy Interest: Curiosity about high-growth technology platforms or on-demand workforces helps you quickly understand our core customer base.
Your Support & Mentorship Structure
You will be mentored directly by three experienced marketers who are invested in your progress:

- Beth (Head of Marketing) — Day-to-day line support, giving you hands-on content and brand strategy guidance.
- David (CRM & Retention Lead) — Direct performance marketing, HubSpot infrastructure, and analytics mentorship.
How Marketing uses AI
Whether you're new to AI or already building with it, we give everyone the tools, time, and support to grow. AI is a multiplier here, it handles the repetitive so you can focus on the work that actually needs you.
What to expect from the process
- Screen: A 30-minute call with the Talent team. We'll cover the role, your background, and your questions.
- Onsite Assessment Day: Work in small teams on challenges and interview with the wider business.

- Private healthcare for you and your family, including pre-existing conditions.

Working here
You’ll do well here if you:
- Move through ambiguity without waiting for a perfect brief.
- Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
- Adapt quickly when priorities shift, and help others do the same.
- Look for ways to improve how things work, not just how to complete them.
- Use tools, data, and colleagues to make better decisions.
This probably isn't the right fit if you:
- Prefer clearly defined processes and a stable, slow-moving environment.
- Are most comfortable staying within the boundaries of your job description.
- Find frequent context-switching draining rather than energising.
