INSHUR is redefining the future of mobility, trusted by leading platforms and pioneering autonomous vehicle insurance. We are looking for a Junior Finance Assistant (Part-Time) to join us in Brighton. We embrace a hybrid working model, with a 1-day-per-week in the Brighton office as part of a 3 day week cycle, and the option to work remotely as needed.

We value high performance and aim to make INSHUR a place where everyone contributes meaningfully while enjoying the ride.

- Multi-Platform Spend Reconciliation: Capture and reconcile spend across tools such as Pleo, Expensify, Cledara, and AMEX, ensuring receipts are attached, compliant, and correctly categorized.
- Banking & Payments: Prepare bi-monthly payment runs, draft domestic and international payments, and carry out bank and card reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.
- Vendor Management & Controls: Maintain the Sage Intacct Vendor Master File, onboard new suppliers, and coordinate verification processes for changes to supplier payment details.
- Month-End Support: Support month-end close activities to ensure all transactions, payments, and reconciliations are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Ad-hoc tasks: Support the team where needed.
What We’re Looking For
We prioritise aptitude and passion over a strict checklist of requirements and categorize the following into essentials and additional skills.
Essentials To Thrive In The Role
- Financial Systems Experience: Experience with accounting or AP systems, ideally Sage Intacct and AP automation tools.
- Strong Excel Skills: Confidence using Excel to reconcile statements and analyse financial data.

- Confidentiality & Trust: Absolute discretion handling sensitive spend, supplier information, and executive expenses.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart
- Familiarity with Finance Tech Stacks: Experience with Stampli, Pleo, Expensify, Cledara, or corporate card platforms.
- International Payments Exposure: Experience supporting international wires or multi-currency transactions.
- Process-Improvement Mindset: Interest in improving systems, controls, and workflows in a fast-growing, tech-enabled finance function.
- Vendor Onboarding Experience: Experience collecting and managing supplier documentation such as W9s, VAT certificates, and bank details.
- Fast-Paced Environment Experience: Comfort working in a scaling business where priorities evolve and attention to detail matters.
