We are seeking a motivated and detail‑focused individual with strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills to join our team at Inshore Support. At Inshore Support we provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour across both residential and supported living services throughout the Black Country and Kidderminster areas. Our homes are supported through a dedicated office team based in Stourbridge; you will contribute to the smooth running of services that support over 250 employees and more than 40 service users. This role involves working closely with staff at all levels to ensure that they are fully supported in providing the best quality care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with and assist the Human Resources and Care Services departments with issues of both a HR and training nature.
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with tasks related to both the onboarding and disciplinary processes. This includes, but is not limited to: interviewing, minute taking, fact finding, scheduling appointments, conducting right to work checks and preparing contracts.
- Assist the Care Services Manager with tasks related to the training process. This includes liaising with colleagues and training partners to ensure that training is delivered in an effective manner and staff members across the company remain fully trained.
- Liaise and provide guidance to staff members across the company with relation to issues of a HR / training nature and to escalate where appropriate.
Role Requirements
- Ability to maintain accurate recording.
- Experience handling telephone inquiries and conducting general administrative duties in a professional manner.
- Comfortable working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- Able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willingness to work across multiple departments, including HR and training.
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate to the Stourbridge, West Midlands area.
