This is not your typical contract management role! Join Inscyte as an Assistant Contracts Manager and help rebalance PFI contracts, improve public services and turn complex data into meaningful outcomes.

The Role

  • Support contract performance and compliance across public sector PFI projects, working alongside Contracts Managers and Senior Contracts Managers.
  • Work with six clients across the Leeds and West Yorkshire area.
  • Analyse KPIs, build strong client relationships, review contractor performance and help resolve service delivery issues.
  • Work with our in-house Support Desk team, helping to capture live issues and resolve them on behalf of our clients.
  • Support the delivery of multiple public sector PFI commissions.
  • Review and analyse contractor performance against KPIs and service standards.
  • Interrogate monthly reports, deductions and contractual data submissions.
  • Prepare and maintain contractual documentation, reports and audit trails.
  • Support clients to resolve service performance and compliance issues while building these relationships.
  • Monitor trends in performance, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Attend contractual and site-based meetings, capturing actions and outcomes.
  • Support variation management, damage tracking and quotation reviews.
  • Act as a key interface with the Inscyte Support Desk and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records across portals, trackers and filing systems.

No two days will be the same, and no two clients are the same. One moment, you might be helping resolve a heating provision problem, and the next, you could be supporting the mitigation of a Safeguarding issue.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Confident, values-driven communicator who can build trust quickly.
  • Experience within education, health or social care, estates or FM environments.
  • Previous exposure to facilities management, maintenance or asset management.
  • Experience in a customer support or contract administration role.
  • An understanding of project management principles.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a confident customer-first mindset.
  • An analytical approach with the confidence to challenge data.
  • Public sector or PFI experience (advantageous).

Salary / Benefits Package

  • £28,000 to £33,000 Salary scale depending upon experience.
  • Full-time position, based on 37.5 working hours per week.
  • 25 days Annual Leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays, plus 1 day for birthday.
