The Group Partnerships Director is a senior position within Insanity, responsible for driving strategic brand collaborations across the whole group that enhance the careers of our exciting roster. The role supports all teams across the business, including the talent management team (entertainment and creators), Insanity Studios and Insanity Records, modelling our coordinated and collaborative approach across all Insanity businesses.
Prior to commencing the role, the Group Partnerships Director will have had significant experience in partnerships, influencer marketing, and/or talent management with demonstrable expertise in building high‐value partnerships.
Responsibilities- Brand Partnerships
- Lead the strategy and execution of securing major brand partnerships for clients across the roster including global sponsorships, endorsements, and product collaborations that align with the talent's personal brand.
- Identify and target high‐value partnership opportunities across a variety of sectors such as fashion, media, entertainment, motoring, tech, gaming and lifestyle, ensuring collaborations are impactful and aligned with company values.
- Leverage existing relationships with senior‐level decision makers including CMOs, brand managers, and agency executives to build strong, long‐lasting partnerships with top‐tier brands.
- Continuously seek out new opportunities by staying ahead of emerging market trends, identifying untapped sectors and engaging with both established and emerging brands.
- Use deep industry knowledge to position clients as thought leaders and influencers in the marketplace, creating demand for exclusive brand collaborations.
- Branded Content
- Lead the development and execution of branded content strategies through Insanity Studios, working closely with internal stakeholders, talent managers and brand partners.
- Liaise directly with brands, agencies and media buyers to identify and unlock marketing budgets that can fund premium content opportunities.
- Collaborate with talent managers to identify clients with innovative content ideas that could be developed into ad‐funded formats across linear, digital and social channels.
- Proactively ideate, package and pitch content series concepts to brands and agencies, aligning creative ideas with their marketing objectives and audience strategies.
- Work alongside the Insanity Studios production team to ensure content is delivered to the highest creative and commercial standards, maintaining brand integrity and talent authenticity.
- Identify opportunities for multi‐platform storytelling and innovative content formats, including podcasts, short‐form digital content, long‐form series and live experiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioning editors, media owners and digital platforms to unlock wider distribution opportunities for branded content.
- Leverage data‐driven insights to demonstrate the value of branded content campaigns and to optimise performance for future projects.
- Act as the key point of contact between Insanity Studios, brands, agencies and talent managers, ensuring smooth execution and seamless collaboration at every stage of the process.
- Partnership Negotiation and Execution
- Oversee the negotiation process for high‐value brand partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both talent and partners.
- Ensure partnerships are creatively executed, aligning with the brand's marketing objectives and the talent's KPI on audience engagement.
- Manage complex contract negotiations, working closely with our business and legal affairs teams, brand representatives and internal stakeholders to secure the best possible terms for talent.
- Client Relationship Building and Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with high‐level executives at top brands, agencies and marketing teams, becoming the key point of contact for all major partnership enquiries.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on how to enhance their brand collaborations, offering strategic insights to maximise the impact of their partnerships.
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring future partnership opportunities and long‐term business growth.
- Market Insight and Trend Spotting
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies and evolving consumer behaviour to ensure that partnership strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Identify and evaluate emerging partnership models, digital marketing strategies and new revenue streams that align with the changing landscape of the entertainment and partnership space.
- Mentorship and Leadership
- Lead and coach colleagues in the partnerships team and across the wider entertainment department, helping them develop the skills to secure high‐value partnerships.
- Share expertise and insights regularly across the internal teams.
- Provide training on relationship management, negotiation techniques and strategic thinking to help further build a high‐performing team capable of securing the biggest and most innovative collaborations in the industry.
- Business Support

- Be prepared to deputise or support the leadership team where applicable.
- Identify an area of the business to lead on as a responsible person, for example: chairing a committee, implementing a new initiative, organising an event, being a liaison for the PMA, picking a B Corp stretch target to implement, etc.
- Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
- Review the business's Business Improvement Plan (BIA) and choose targets to support with.
- Identify areas for improvement within the business and advocate for positive change.
- Be an advocate for Insanity's values and ensure that business is carried out ethically.
- At least ten years' experience in a senior position within brand partnerships, sponsorships or related fields, preferably within the entertainment, media or digital industries.
- Proven success in negotiating and managing high‐value brand partnerships with a track record of driving revenue and achieving measurable results.
- A strong network of industry contacts, including CMOs, marketing teams, PR and advertising agencies, in‐house brand managers with the ability to open doors to strategic brand partnerships.
- Expertise in social media, digital marketing, influencer marketing and brand activation strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring and managing a high‐performance team.
- Comfortable with change management and coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven environment.
- Knowledge of key industry tools and platforms for partnership development, performance tracking and audience analysis.
- Understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance factors as they relate to our business and industry.
