The Group Partnerships Director is a senior position within Insanity, responsible for driving strategic brand collaborations across the whole group, that enhance the careers of our exciting roster. The role supports all teams across the business, including the talent management team (entertainment and creators), Insanity Studios and Insanity Records, modelling our coordinated and collaborative approach across all Insanity businesses.
Prior to commencing the role, the Group Partnerships Director will have had significant experience in partnerships, influencer marketing, and/or talent management with demonstrable expertise in building high value partnerships.
The Group Partnerships Director plays a crucial role in:
- Developing and executing brand partnership strategies that align with our clients' personal brand, audience and community.
- Fostering a strong relationship with clients, and strategically positioning them for success in their respective fields.
- Identifying, securing and building high value relationships with leading global brands, agencies and in-house marketing teams.
- Nurturing relationships with Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), agency executives and key industry stakeholders.
- Hiring, managing and coaching a team of partnership managers and guiding them to success.
- Staying ahead of social media trends, digital marketing innovations and influencer collaborations to ensure client activations are marketing leading.
- Advising the leadership team on opportunities across the whole business and leading initiatives to drive growth and innovation in this area.
- Coaching less experienced members of the team.
- Projecting a prosocial behaviour that aligns with Insanity's purpose, mission, vision and values.
- Contributing to managing business risk.
- Deputising for members of the leadership team where needed.
The Group Partnerships Director may progress to a formal leadership position within the business or on to becoming a statutory Director.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Partnerships: Lead the strategy and execution of securing major brand partnerships for clients across the roster including global sponsorships, endorsements, and product collaborations that align with the talents personal brand.
- Identify and target high value partnership opportunities across a variety of sectors, ensuring collaborations are impactful and in keeping with company values.
- Leverage existing relationships with senior level decision makers to build strong, longālasting partnerships with topātier brands.
- Continuously seeking out new opportunities by staying ahead of emerging market trends.
- Use deep industry knowledge to position clients as thought leaders and influencers in the marketplace.
Branded Content: Lead the development and execution of branded content strategies through Insanity Studios, working closely with internal stakeholders, talent managers, and brand partners.
- Liaise directly with brands, agencies, and media buyers to identify and unlock marketing budgets that can fund premium content opportunities.
- Collaborate with talent managers to identify clients with innovative content ideas.
- Proactively ideate, package, and pitch content series concepts to brands and agencies.
- Work alongside the Insanity Studios production team to ensure content is delivered to the highest creative and commercial standards.
- Identify opportunities for multiāplatform storytelling and innovative content formats.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioning editors, media owners, and digital platforms.
- Leverage dataādriven insights to demonstrate the value of branded content campaigns.
- Act as the key point of contact between Insanity Studios, brands, agencies, and talent managers.
Partnership negotiation and execution: Oversee the negotiation process for high value brand partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both talent and partners.
- Ensure partnerships are creatively executed, aligning with both the brands marketing objectives and the talents KPI re audience engagement.
- Manage complex contract negotiations, working closely with our business and legal affairs teams.
Client relationship building and stakeholder engagement: Cultivate and nurture relationships with high level executives at top brands, agencies and marketing teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on how to enhance their brand collaborations.
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key stakeholders.
Market insight and trend spotting: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer behaviour.
- Identify and evaluate emerging partnership models, digital marketing strategies and new revenue streams.
Mentorship and leadership: Lead and coach colleagues in the partnerships team in addition to the wider entertainment department.
- Share expertise and insights regularly across the internal teams.
- Provide training on relationship management, negotiation techniques, and strategic thinking.
Business Support: Projecting professional and prosocial behaviour to colleagues.
- Being prepared to deputise or support the leadership team, where applicable.
- Identifying an area of the business to lead on as a responsible person.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG): Reviewing the businesses Business Improvement Plan (BIA) and choosing targets to support with.
- Identifying areas for improvement within the business and advocating for positive change.
Key competencies, skills, and Experience: At least ten years' experience in a senior position within brand partnerships, sponsorships, or related fields.
- Proven success in negotiating and managing highāvalue brand partnerships.
- A strong network of industry contacts.
- Expertise in social media, digital marketing, influencer marketing and brand activation strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring and managing a high performance team.
- Comfortable with change management and coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of key industry tools and platforms for partnership development.
- Understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance factors.
