Job Overview
- Driving delivery vehicles.
- Be a part of an installation team carrying out all installation/removal/relocation works as required and adhere to all Health and Safety procedures.
- The role will involve being a face-to-face contact with the customer so being well-presented, polite, and having good customer service skills are essential.
- To assist with all aspects of the safe crew operation.
- Flexible working hours – early starts / late finishes to suit the daily requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Safe installations, relocations, and removals for key account customers, Post Office, and private clients.
- Carry out site surveys for upcoming works.
- Ensure correct use of 7.5t vehicle (to those who are applicable).
- Ensure all Tachograph paperwork and rules are adhered to (to those who are applicable).
- Complete daily driving logs in each vehicle.
- Daily walk round vehicle checks.
- Ensure all vehicle exteriors are kept clean and levels of fluid, tires, etc. are kept in working order.
- Completing RAMS and checking asbestos registers on site.
- Safe lock setups and demonstrations to customers.
- Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Establish effective communication and a good working relationship with the installations team.
- Complete and return timesheets and expense claims.
- Take advantage of the training and advice available to continuously develop your personal technical skills and to ensure that the Company attains a high skill level capability.
- Actively participate as a member of the installation team and assist other members as appropriate to ensure the overall effective operation of the department.
- Fulfill additional, relevant tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.
