We are looking for a talented Data Solutions Engineer to join our Incident Group and support the development and maintenance of SharePoint infrastructure and other Microsoft Office 365 applications. This role is critical to ensuring our traffic incident data product remains market-leading through ongoing integration of Office 365 applications, workflows, and other technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SharePoint infrastructure and associated Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Implement workflow and tooling tasks involving data delivery and transformation.
- Collaborate with the Incident Group to integrate Office 365 applications, workflows, and other technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
- Experience using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculated columns, measures, and custom tables within Power BI.
- Experience using SharePoint, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow.
- Experience using QGIS to view and analyse geospatial data.
- Experience using Python to perform data wrangling and cleaning tasks.
- Prepared to change working hours as required by the operation.
Highly Desirable
- Experience writing scripts to iteratively scrape data from a website to a database.
- Experience creating post API requests using Postman.
Desirable
- Experience building full-stack applications with demonstrable project examples.
