We invest in the unknown, applying our curiosity and desire for positive change to everything we do. By fueling creativity, innovation, and progress within our teams, our products and services are designed for people to be fearless, to be changemakers.
What the role involves: As the Senior Knowledge Strategist, you will be the foundational architect of IOG's Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) system. This role is responsible for designing, building, and implementing a comprehensive strategy to capture, structure, and disseminate IOG's vast intellectual capital. You will transform how we manage information, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and creating reliable sources of truth that empower data‑driven decisions, accelerate innovation, and enhance operational efficiency across the entire organization. This is a critical role that will lay the groundwork for our advanced AI and automation initiatives within the Integra ecosystem.
- EKM Strategy & Architecture: Design and own the vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmap for Enterprise Knowledge Management at IOG. Develop the core information architecture, including taxonomies, ontologies, and metadata frameworks that will serve as the backbone of our knowledge systems.
- System Design & Implementation: Lead the selection, design, and implementation of KM technologies and platforms. Work with engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems, particularly the Business Operating System (BOS) and future AI‑driven tools.
- Knowledge Capture & Curation: Establish robust processes for identifying, capturing, and validating critical knowledge from across all business units—from research and engineering to operations and strategy. Develop content lifecycle and governance standards.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership & Evangelism: Act as the primary advocate for knowledge management across IOG. Collaborate closely with department heads and senior leaders to understand their needs, secure buy‑in, and drive the adoption of new KM practices and tools.
- Search & Discovery: Engineer a powerful and intuitive search and discovery experience, enabling employees to find relevant, verified information and expertise quickly and efficiently.
- Governance & Measurement: Define and implement a governance model for the EKM. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the system's effectiveness, adoption rates, and impact on business objectives, reporting progress to executive leadership.
- EKM & OD & L&D Alignment: Map EKM taxonomy to the role/level framework and skills library, and mirror it in the learning taxonomy, powering role‑based paths and consistent tagging across SOPs, courses, and job aids.
- Insights to Action: Use EKM analytics (search/usage, expertise maps, gaps, duplication) to steer L&D roadmaps and OD workforce planning/succession; run a Quarterly Knowledge Review to set next‑quarter priorities.
Requirements: Who you are:
- 10+ years of experience in knowledge management, information architecture, or a related field, with a proven track record of designing and building enterprise‑scale KM systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading major KM or information architecture projects from conception to launch in a technology‑focused company.
- Strong fluency in KM principles, modern technologies (e.g., graph databases, semantic search), and industry best practices.
- Experience working in a distributed, global organization is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Library Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strategic & Systems Thinking: Ability to design a complex, enterprise‑wide system from the ground up, aligning the KM strategy with long‑term business goals, especially those related to AI and operational excellence.
- Information Architecture Expertise: Deep, hands‑on expertise in designing and implementing taxonomies, ontologies, and metadata schemas in a complex, technical organization.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of modern KM platforms, search technologies, content management systems, and the principles of API‑driven architectures. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is a significant plus.
- Influence & Collaboration: Proven ability to influence and build consensus across diverse, highly technical teams and with executive stakeholders without direct authority.
- Pragmatic Execution: A builder's mindset with the ability to translate a long‑term vision into a concrete, phased implementation plan and drive it to completion.

- Laptop reimbursement
- New starter package to buy hardware essentials (headphones, monitor, etc.)
