Job Purpose
The Chief of Staff to the President (‘CoS\’) has three primary elements to their role – strategic support to the President; key project management and strategic planning; and communication and coordination.

The Chief of Staff to the President (‘CoS\’) has three primary elements to their role – strategic support to the President; key project management and strategic planning; and communication and coordination.
In supporting the President, the CoS is responsible for driving and enhancing the President\’s operational effectiveness through coordination, oversight, and execution support across a range of internal initiatives and business priorities. Acting as a true partner the CoS ensures the President is prepared and has the information and materials required to make strategic decisions, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
The CoS partners across the business and externally to translate decisions into actions, ensuring projects are mapped out clearly and tracked effectively and that any concerns or deviations are addressed. Where delegated, the CoS represents the President, making decisions inline with their delegated authority.
This is a very visible role with a focus on communication, organization and execution.
The position requires frequent travel to participate in executive meetings and attend internal and external events and workshops, ensuring the President is kept fully informed when not present.
Success in this role will require establishing trusted working relationships with senior leaders and functional teams, focusing on aligning their priorities with those of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Planning & Execution
- Drive key internal initiatives and ensure alignment with the President\’s operational priorities
- Track progress on company OKRs, escalate risks to delivery, and ensure cross-functional accountability
- Identify process bottlenecks – solving these where possible and partnering with relevant teams to ensure these are addressed and resolved where they sit outside the President\’s Office.
Internal Communications & Coordination
- Act as liaison between the President and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear updates and minimizing delays.
- Focus on ensuring clarity of messaging (between the above parties and throughout the organization) and alignment on objectives
- Prepare internal updates, briefing documents, and executive summaries for leadership meetings and business reviews. Ensure actions are noted and addressed
- Facilitate decision-making through coordination amongst relevant stakeholders
Strategic Project Management
- Lead and support projects that drive organizational improvements and operational excellence
- Manage interdepartmental initiatives, ensuring timelines, resources, and milestones are aligned and achieved
- Follow through on action items and ensure initiatives are completed to a high standard
Organizational Rhythm & Meeting Management
- Organize executive meetings, support agenda-setting, document preparation, and action tracking
- Coordinate internal forums such as leadership check-ins, planning sessions, and all-hands meetings
- Ensure seamless internal operations, especially during periods of rapid change or company scaling
Cross-Functional Support & Culture Building
- Collaborate with internal teams to embed cultural initiatives and reinforce shared values
- Build trusted relationships across the organisation and externally, serving as a liaison on behalf of the President when needed
- Support the President\’s involvement in employee engagement, feedback loops, and operational decisions
Requirements
Key Competencies
- Strong operational and organizational capability, with an ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
- Experience working in a fast moving tech organisation (Web3 is a plus) and understanding (direct experience is a bonus) of working in a tech role
- Experience working with AI and using AI to augment workplace efficiencies.
- Knowledge of Crypto/programmable economies
- Good communication skills, able to synthesize and deliver concise updates
- Highly structured and process-driven, with an ability to streamline workflows and improve execution speed
- Comfortable taking initiative
- Maintains a strong attention to detail and ensures high-quality delivery across projects
- Highly collaborative, able to work across functions and levels with professionalism and tact
- Displays sound business intuition and an ability to evaluate trade-offs within operational decision-making
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and personal accountability
- Brings integrity, humility, and alignment with purpose-driven organizational values
Education / Experience
- Bachelor\’s degree required; Master\’s degree or relevant certifications in operations or business management preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in business operations, project management, or strategic execution roles
- Experience in cross-functional project delivery, preferably in a scaling or matrixed organization
- Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership in complex, fast-paced settings
- Previous experience or a strong understanding of the Web3 industry is required, especially in navigating operational models or projects within decentralized or blockchain-enabled environments
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
