Role: Social Media Strategist for Input Output Group. You will develop and execute creative, insight-driven social media strategies that elevate IOG's venture presence and drive meaningful engagement across global audiences. You will highlight IOG's products, partnerships, and business milestones, helping shape the public narrative around the company's growing portfolio of ventures and innovations. You will work with product and broader communications teams to plan and execute content tied to launches, updates, and ecosystem stories, translating complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible narratives for developers, partners, and the wider blockchain community.

The ideal candidate is creative and analytical, able to spot trends, craft narratives, and translate performance insights into actionable improvements. Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute social media strategies for IO's product portfolio and venture projects.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing leads to translate business milestones, technical releases, and partnerships into social media moments.
  • In partnership with the Paid Media Strategist, define paid media objectives for IO's social channels.
  • Build content calendars aligned with product roadmaps, campaign plans, and ecosystem announcements.
  • Identify and propose storytelling opportunities to elevate awareness of new ventures and business initiatives.
  • Draft and schedule social media content that captures the essence of IO's innovation and product progress.
  • Adapt messaging across platforms (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, etc.) to ensure clarity, engagement, and platform fit.
  • Partner with designers, video producers, and the wider communications and brand teams to develop multimedia assets to support venture storytelling.
  • Partner with the wider communications, social, brand, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging across channels.
  • Work with IOG's paid media agency to develop strategic recommendations for paid content boosting and advertising to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Liaise with product leads, researchers, and engineers to ensure technical accuracy and relevance in social storytelling.
  • Maintain alignment with PR for announcements, launches, and thought leadership amplification related to the venture studio.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social performance tied to venture- and product-related content.
  • Identify which narratives and formats perform best for different audience segments, and use those insights to refine strategy.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve future content planning and audience growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a social media strategist or manager, with at least 4 years in Web3 technologies.
  • Experience in digital marketing or related fields is a plus (e.g., content marketing, brand management, product marketing).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics reporting.
  • Experience working in a distributed team across verticals.
  • Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and how to leverage them to deliver company goals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine passion for Web3.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with major social platforms and best practices (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
