We are now seeking a Procurement Officer to support our work with one of our Housing Association partners, ensuring the effective delivery of their procurement pipeline while upholding governance, compliance and best practice.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Procurement, you will play a key role in coordinating procurement activities that are compliant, timely, and well-structured. Working closely with the Procurement Manager, internal stakeholders and suppliers, you will help deliver value-for-money outcomes while contributing to strong contract administration and excellent customer service. You will also benefit from the operational support and professional network of the central procurement teams at Inprova HQ in Warrington, giving you access to expert colleagues and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and delivery of procurement projects in line with policies, governance procedures and the Procurement Act 2023
- Prepare and issue tender documentation; manage clarifications, track returns and coordinate responses
- Maintain procurement inboxes and provide first-line support for queries
- Update and maintain procurement trackers, contract registers and sourcing pipelines
- Promote positive supplier engagement aligned to organisational values
About You
We’re looking for a highly organised, motivated individual with experience supporting procurement processes, ideally within the public sector, social housing, construction, or other regulated environments. You will have:
- Strong IT skills (particularly MS Word, Excel and document-management systems)
- Experience with contract administration and supplier management
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and build strong relationships
