As a Professional Sports Scaffolding Laborer at InProduction, here is what you can expect:

  • Daily Routine: Building scaffolds at professional venues like stadiums, fields, courts, golf courses, rinks, and tracks. You might see our work on TV during games or events.
  • Crews: Small crews of up to 5 employees, traveling together from job to job.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, consistent, and year-round work without uncertainty about assignments.
  • Work Environment: Mostly outdoors, in the sun and fresh air.
  • Travel: Overnight travel is routine; you may be away from home for 90+ days.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and dismantle scaffolds, install ladders, walkways, and handrails.
  • Assist with safe installation/removal of equipment per plans.
  • Inspect scaffold components before assembly.
  • Clean and prepare sites, remove debris.
  • Load/unload equipment and materials.
  • Study plans and equipment lists before work.
  • Follow safety protocols, including using safety equipment and fall protection.
  • Maintain tools and equipment after shifts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with quality and timeliness.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred, with a good driving record.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Must not be afraid of heights.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand safety instructions.
  • Preferred backgrounds: scaffolding, carpentry, construction, laboring, or events.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
