About the role: Depot Operations Support Assistant - In Post Distribution Carlisle depot Are you ready to be at the heart of a fast-paced, dynamic parcel operation?
Join In Post Distribution as a Depot Operations Support team member and play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily parcel activities, exceptional customer care, and seamless administration in our bustling Carlisle depot!,
- Working closely with the other members of the Team in order to fully understand Customer and Suppliers requirements and expectations.
- Conduct thorough driver de-briefs, setting ambitious performance targets that motivate continuous improvement and uphold our high operational standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, handling de-briefs and all queries with professionalism and responsiveness, while ensuring feedback is effectively shared to drive key performance goals.
- Champion Health & Safety excellence, maintaining a secure and compliant working environment at all times.
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Deal with any procurement needs.
- Data inputting
- Provide timely, quality, and accurate information, (Weekly/Monthly)
- General administration duties
- Support with any other "ad hoc" administrative tasks
- Investigate and conclude customer queries.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly words processing and spreadsheet skills - 'Customer Service' oriented
- Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment is highly valued, providing a solid foundation for success in this role.
- Experience with transport management systems such as Microlise is highly advantageous, though not essential - we welcome candidates eager to learn and adapt.
