Shift Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Start Time: 02:00am - 09:30am
Salary: £12.70 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- Safe Vehicle Loading: Ensure your vehicle is loaded in compliance with legislation and company standards.
- Timely Deliveries: Safely and efficiently deliver newspapers/magazines to our customers, ensuring on-time performance.
- Security: Maintain the security of the vehicle and goods throughout the transit process.
- Order Handling: Uplift previous day’s orders and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
- Inbound Supplies Management: Break down, allocate, and load inbound supplies efficiently.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow company procedures and policies to ensure a smooth workflow.
What we need from you:
- Full UK Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points).
- 3+ years of driving experience and a clean driving history (no disqualifications such as NI, DD, or DR).
- Strong local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses and streets.
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role.
- A hardworking, positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
- Willingness to undergo a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, if successful.
