About the role: InPost is seeking a dedicated and proactive De-Briefer to join our dynamic team in Northampton. This pivotal role involves overseeing day-to-day transport operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional service to both InPost and our valued customers.

Shift Pattern: 5 days per week between Monday - Saturday
Hours: 14:00 - 23:00

What you’ll be doing:
- Empower drivers by providing clear delivery routes and instructions, ensuring each journey is perfectly planned for smooth and timely deliveries.
- Conduct thorough driver de-briefs, setting ambitious performance targets that motivate continuous improvement and uphold our high operational standards.
- Manage all documentation with precision and efficiency, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and promptly to support seamless operations.
- Champion Health & Safety excellence, maintaining a secure and compliant working environment at all times.
- Deliver real-time communication by liaising closely with drivers during their shifts, tracking delivery progress and promptly relaying critical updates to relevant teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, handling de-briefs and all queries with professionalism and responsiveness, while ensuring feedback is effectively shared to drive key performance goals.
- Leverage your experience in fast-paced transport administration, strong PC literacy (particularly in Word and Excel), and keen attention to detail to keep our operations running smoothly, even under pressure.
What we need from you:
- Comprehensive knowledge of transport legislation and logistics operations, enabling you to navigate the complexities of the industry with confidence and precision.
- Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment is highly valued, providing a solid foundation for success in this role.
- A proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet, swiftly overcoming challenges to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
- Experience with transport management systems such as Microlise is highly advantageous, though not essential — we welcome candidates eager to learn and adapt.
