About the role

Join our team as we scale up B2B events in 2025, aiming to increase awareness and generate leads for both B2C and Returns through engaging round-tables and speaker slots targeting e-commerce merchants and landlords. With a focus on C-suite interactions and strategic networking as part of our Top 20 Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating a variety of internal and external events, ensuring impactful connections are made!

We are looking for a dedicated individual who can efficiently manage event planning and execution, making a significant contribution to our mission while enjoying the one team culture InPost is proud of.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Own the event calendar for the year, including ad hoc new events
  2. Own hospitality programme, liaising with partners and agencies
  3. Build out activation and layout plans for each event
  4. Manage collection of prospect data pre, during and post event, ensuring GDPR compliance and subsequent inclusion in Merchant/ Landlord CRM
  5. Co-ordinate design and production of exhibition stands, storage and delivery
  6. Manage collateral production and distribution/ delivery / collection to event
  7. Manage coordination of event activities with B2B and Consumer Marketing, Comms, HR/ Internal Comms
  8. Manage team attendance, speaker slots, presentations and narratives
  9. Manage end-to-end delegate experience where appropriate from initial invite through to post event engagement
  10. Hospitality management of VIP guests
  11. Plan and facilitate small and industry events like round tables (dinners)
  12. Own event catering, ordering, menu selection etc
  13. Attendance at events to ensure smooth management (this will involve some travel)

What we need from you:

  1. Experience (~3 years) in managing the setup and running of events of a variety of sizes – e.g. conferences to networking events
  2. Experienced in driving a great experience for attendees
  3. Understanding and flexible style of comms with a range of stakeholders and attendees
  4. Must have executed the end-to-end delivery of multiple events
  5. High level of written and verbal communication skills
  6. A “sleeves rolled up” attitude
  7. Confident nature and comfortable pushing back to events businesses to ensure InPost runs the perfect events
  8. General knowledge of risk assessments and safety of event locations
  9. Familiar with UK venue hotspots with the potential to leverage existing relationships in the market
