Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades-old delivery universe? If so, read on, as we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Commercial team! Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.

At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.

About the role:

The top of the funnel is where the whole machine starts. If you've got the drive, the curiosity, and the hunger to open doors — this is where your sales career takes off.

  • Build and maintain a rich, targeted pipeline of retail and e-commerce prospects — using LinkedIn, prospect databases, trade publications, and market monitoring to identify the merchants InPost should be talking to.
  • Conduct high-volume, high-quality outbound outreach via cold calls, personalised emails, and LinkedIn. Qualify prospects against agreed criteria and run initial discovery conversations to identify genuine commercial fit.
  • Book qualified meetings for Business Development Managers and deliver sharp, accurate briefings on each prospect.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify and research potential retail and e-commerce merchants across LinkedIn, prospect databases, industry publications, and competitor analysis.
  • Map target organisations to understand their structure, decision-making contacts, and fit with InPost's out-of-home delivery proposition.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via cold calls, personalised emails, and LinkedIn — sparking genuine interest in the InPost proposition.
  • Qualify prospects using BANT criteria — assessing budget, authority, need, and timeline — and conduct initial discovery conversations.
  • Book and confirm qualified meetings for BDMs, providing a concise and accurate briefing on each prospect ahead of handover.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and enquiries, qualifying and progressing them through the pipeline in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospect status, objections, and next steps in InPost's CRM at all times.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for people who are ready for a fast paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today's stuff done, whilst building for the future. We’re looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.

  • Experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role
  • Exposure to outbound outreach or prospecting activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
  • Comfortable using a CRM tool to log activity and manage a contact list
  • Background in e-commerce, logistics, or the retail sector
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platform
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
  • Experience with email sequencing or outreach automation tools
  • Understanding of BANT or similar lead qualification frameworks

Skills That Matter:

  • Clear and confident communicator — able to engage prospects professionally via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Strong written skills — able to craft personalised, compelling outreach that stands out from the inbox noise
  • Organised and disciplined — manages a large prospect list and maintains consistent outreach cadences
  • Quick learner — able to rapidly develop knowledge of InPost's proposition and the e-commerce sector

The InPost process:

We pride ourselves on our candidate experience. We want to make this as straightforward as possible, for you and for us! We will try our best to get back to you within a few days to let you know if we’d like to take you to the first stage. This normally involves a 20 minute chat with our Talent Team. If we both feel the connection, you’ll then go through another one or two stages, depending on the level of the role.
