You'll be encouraged to Own it by taking responsibility for your development, Dare to Disrupt by questioning how things can be done better, and make it happen by turning ideas into action.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same.

One day you could be coordinating a business-wide engagement initiative.

The next, you might be using AI to improve an HR process, supporting a change project, or working with senior stakeholders to solve a people challenge.

  • You Will
  • Get involved in People & Culture projects from planning through to delivery.
  • Support People & Culture Business Partners with workforce planning, employee relations and people-related business challenges.
  • Use people data and business insight to help identify trends, understand workforce needs and support informed decision-making.
  • Build an understanding of the business, its people and its priorities so you can provide effective People & Culture support to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support initiatives that create a brilliant colleague experience.
  • Help improve HR processes by embracing technology and AI, while developing your understanding of how People & Culture can work smarter.
  • Gain hands‑on experience supporting business partnering, stakeholder management and people-related business challenges.
  • Support HR policy reviews and business integration projects adapting quickly and helping to Make it Happen when priorities change.
  • Provide coordination and project support while learning how every team contributes to the business, because at In Post We Win Together.
  • Develop the confidence to manage projects, solve problems, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Organise your own workload, manage multiple priorities and take ownership of your work without needing close supervision.
  • Love building relationships and working with people, while having the confidence to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.

What We Need From You

We're not expecting you to be an HR expert – This is what this programme is for.

We're looking for graduates with curiosity, ambition, and a genuine interest in people.

You'll enjoy this opportunity if you're someone who loves learning, embraces change and isn't afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo.

  • You’ll Need
  • A minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline.
  • You'll need to have graduated within the last three years in 2026, 2025 or 2024.
  • A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across the UK when required
  • We’d Also Love To See
  • A degree in Business Studies, Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related subject (although we welcome graduates from all backgrounds).
  • Experience in HR, recruitment or another people-focused environment through an internship, placement, volunteering, university society, or part‑time role.
  • Confidence working with data, Excel, or reporting tools.
  • An interest in how technology and AI are transforming the future of work.
  • A genuine curiosity about how people and business come together to achieve results.
