About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing UK business. This role will be responsible for developing and closing a pipeline of new clients and will play a significant part in our B2C growth plans.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building strong relationships at multiple levels within target organizations, from operational to C-suite.
- Generate a strong pipeline of retail prospects utilising multiple channels to build and nurture leads.
- Collaborating with UK commercial, marketing, payments, and operational teams to ensure successful client onboarding and delivery.
- Managing multistakeholder relationships across logistics, e-commerce, marketing, and payments to align interests and accelerate adoption.
- Lead the sales process from "Opportunity" to "Go Live" delivering a best in class client experience.
- Establishing yourself as a thought leader in ecommerce and logistics, able to influence clients around the need for the InPost solution.
- Build out scalable business development processes utilising sales frameworks and technology, helping to improve deal conversion.
- Being an expert in the InPost value proposition and develop a deep understanding of our solution.
- Help to develop our go-to market strategy and value proposition.

Key experience you will need below:
- Background in parcel delivery, logistics, payments, or e-commerce service provision, with a strong existing network across the UK e-commerce sector.
- Demonstrated success in selling services to e-commerce retail businesses, with a proven record of accomplishments of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Skilled in creating and delivering highly engaging presentations that are customized to meet the specific needs and interests of the audience.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively, address objections, and identify both quick wins and broader strategic opportunities.
- Strong relationship management skills, including experience managing multiple stakeholders across different business functions.
- An analytical and data-oriented approach to sales, utilizing various frameworks and tools to guide decision-making and strategy.
- Agile and responsive. Can juggle and prioritize tasks, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, navigate ambiguity, and execute the delivery of sales goals.
- Capability to work independently while remaining an integral part of a broader UK-based team, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
