We’re leading the logistics revolution, powering deliveries across the UK for some of the nation’s biggest high‑street and online brands. Our depots are the backbone of our operation, ensuring seamless logistics and top‑notch service for our customers.
About the role
InPost is seeking skilled and motivated Warehouse Operatives to become an integral part of our dynamic Parcel Sorting Team at our Yeovil depot. In this role, you’ll be working alongside InPost and its valued customers to support our efficient parcel operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative and fast‑paced team, playing a key role in our continued success.
Location: Sea King Road, Lynx Trading Estate, Yeovil, BA20 2NZ
Shift Pattern: 5 on 2 off
Hours: 00:30pm – 08:45am
Salary: £13.22 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- Cover a variety of roles within the warehouse environment to support the overall distribution and operational process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at all times.
- Sorting parcels to assist with the smooth running of operations, including relabelling items where required to ensure correct processing and delivery.
- Sorting parcels both manually and through the use of warehouse machinery, following all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required to maintain a clean, organised, and productive working environment.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and support colleagues across different areas of the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading deliveries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring parcels are handled with care.
