We’re leading the logistics revolution, powering deliveries across the UK for some of the nation’s biggest high-street and online brands. Our depots are the backbone of our operation, ensuring seamless logistics and top-notch service for our customers. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role in a growing network with opportunities to advance.
Location: Yodel, Alfreton, Venture Crescent, DE55 7RA
Shift Pattern: 4 over 7 | Hours: 11.30am – 22.00pm | Salary: £28,000 p/a
About the role
We are looking for two exceptional Warehouse Sortation Supervisors to join our team and help drive operational excellence in parcel sortation operations. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, optimize mechanical sortation processes, and lead a talented team toward outstanding results.

Responsibilities
- Lead Operational Excellence: Oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations to ensure seamless execution across activities and departments.
- Drive High Performance: Develop and implement strategies to improve performance, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency. Monitor KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Master Warehouse Flow: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate sorting, processing, and dispatch of parcels.
- Empower Your Team: Lead, train and motivate a high-performance warehouse team; provide mentorship and guidance.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with other departments to ensure effective communication and smooth operations.
- Ensure Consistency: Enforce adherence to SOPs for operating efficiency and quality.
- Prioritize Safety: Maintain a strong focus on health and safety; ensure compliance and a safe environment.
- Manage the OLA Shift: Full ownership of all aspects of the OLA shift for productivity and performance.
- Manage Driver Briefings: Oversee driver pre- and de-briefings for clear communication and smooth operations.
- Maintain a Top-Tier Warehouse Environment: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Uphold Company Standards: Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
- Weekend Engagement: Participate in weekend conference calls to stay aligned with operational developments.
Qualifications and experience
- Proven Leadership: Significant supervisory experience in a parcel sortation or logistics warehouse; familiarity with automated sortation systems is a plus.
- Operational Expertise: Strong background in warehouse flow management and driving process improvements.
