About the role
At InPost, we are looking for an exceptional AM Warehouse Sortation Supervisor to join our team and drive operational excellence in parcel sortation operations. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, optimize mechanical sortation processes, and lead a team toward outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off
Hours: 06:00 – 16:30
Salary: £31,000-£33,600 per annum (based upon experience)
What you’ll be doing
- Lead Operational Excellence: Oversee and optimise daily warehouse operations to ensure seamless execution across all activities and departments.
- Drive High Performance: Develop and implement strategies to improve performance, reduce costs, and maximise efficiency. Monitor KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Master Warehouse Flow: Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate sorting, processing, and dispatching of parcels, driving smooth workflow from start to finish.
- Empower Your Team: Lead, train, and inspire a high‑performance warehouse team with mentorship and a positive work environment.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination across the business.
- Ensure Consistency: Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency, efficiency, and quality.
- Prioritise Safety: Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance and a safe working environment for the team.
- Manage Driver Briefings: Oversee pre- and de-briefings with drivers to ensure clear communication and seamless operations.
- Maintain a Top-Tier Warehouse Environment: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Uphold Company Standards: Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high operational standards and integrity.
- Weekend Engagement: Participate in weekend conference calls to stay aligned with key operational developments and share performance insights.
