We are delighted to announce that we have acquired Yodel, one of the UK’s largest delivery companies. The acquisition builds on the partnership established between InPost and Yodel in 2024, when Yodel began providing last-mile delivery through InPost’s “locker-to-door” service.

Today we become truly unique as the only delivery partner with a one-stop shop offer - we have the largest out-of-home delivery network that is now combined with door-to-door capabilities. Going forward, the acquisition of Yodel brings immediate scale to InPost\'s operations, expands our service offering, and provides greater convenience to retailers and customers.

About the role:

InPost Yodel is seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic Parcel Sorting Team at the Huyton depot. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a leading company in the parcel delivery industry, renowned for supporting some of the UK’s most prominent high street and online brands.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling parcels within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize sorting workflows and meet daily targets, helping to drive the success of our logistics operations.

Location: Yodel, Unit 1 Symmetry Park, Cronton Road, Huyton, L35 1QR

Shift Pattern: Any 5 in 7

Hours: 00:00 – 08:30

Salary: £31,225.00 per annum

What you’ll be doing:

  • Efficiently sorting parcels to optimize and streamline the entire operational workflow, ensuring timely and accurate processing that supports seamless distribution.
  • Expertly relabelling and meticulously preparing parcels for dispatch, guaranteeing all items meet stringent quality and accuracy standards before reaching their destination.
  • Demonstrating versatility by manually sorting parcels with precision or operating advanced sorting machinery when required, adapting quickly to meet dynamic operational demands.
  • Actively contributing to a wide range of general warehouse responsibilities, maintaining an organized and efficient environment that drives overall productivity and operational excellence.
  • Loading and unloading parcels with speed and accuracy within a fast-paced, collaborative team setting, ensuring deadlines are consistently met while fostering a positive and motivated work atmosphere.
