Transport Shift Manager
- Location: Hatfield
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Sunday – Thursday 21:45 – 06:15
- Salary: £39,931 Per Annum (+ 20% shift allowance for hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00 equivalent to £47,917)
We’re looking for a highly motivated Transport Shift Manager to take ownership of day-to-day transport operations at our Hatfield site – ensuring our client parcels are moved efficiently and safely into sort centres and onto their final destinations. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of transport professionals across the main site and outbase locations, maintaining performance against strict KPIs and service levels, while keeping safety, compliance, and operational efficiency at the core of everything you do.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the execution of planned transport schedules, ensuring delivery against agreed service levels.
- Monitoring site and national KPIs, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Managing transport costs within agreed budgets.
- Ensuring full compliance with Operating Licence obligations and legal standards.
- Upholding high Health and Safety standards.
