Job Description

Overview

Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades-old delivery universe? We’re looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager who specialises in User Acquisition and Growth to join our Marketing team on a 12 month FTC!

Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.

At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead our user acquisition and growth marketing initiatives for our mobile app and website. This is a fixed-term contract (maternity cover) role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end digital marketing initiatives within a fast-moving environment.

You will play a central role in shaping our digital presence, driving app downloads, increasing active user base, and optimizing engagement across customer touchpoints. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with a proven track record in scaling digital products through data-driven growth strategies. This role will also provide oversight of website strategy and SEO to ensure alignment with overall growth objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead App User Acquisition: Develop and execute multi-channel acquisition campaigns (paid search, social, programmatic, influencer, partnerships, app stores etc.) to drive high-quality installs and conversions.
  • Growth Marketing Strategy: Build and manage full-funnel growth strategies including onboarding optimization, referral programs, acquisition and retention campaigns, and working with our lifecycle marketing team.
  • Performance Marketing: Manage digital budgets across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, etc.), ensuring strong ROI and cost efficiency (CPI, CPA, LTV metrics).
  • App Store Optimization (ASO): Improve app visibility and conversion rates in app stores through keyword optimization, creative testing, and ratings/reviews management.
  • Website & SEO Oversight: Oversee website strategy, performance, and user experience in collaboration with the dedicated team member. Guide SEO initiatives to drive organic traffic, improve rankings, and support acquisition goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Partner with product, analytics, and data teams to analyse user behaviour, track KPIs, and continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Retention & Engagement: Drive CRM initiatives (push, in-app messaging, email, SMS) to improve customer lifetime value, reduce churn, and maximize repeat usage.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a digital marketing team, fostering a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Tech, Business, Operations, Data and Customer Experience teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for people who are ready for a fast paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today's stuff done, whilst building for the future. We’re looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Significant digital marketing experience specifically in mobile app growth/user acquisition.
  • Proven success in scaling app user bases, ideally within e-commerce, logistics, mobility, or tech-driven industries.
  • Strong grasp of growth marketing frameworks (AARRR: Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue).
  • Hands-on experience with mobile measurement partners (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular) and analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Firebase).
  • Solid understanding of SEO and website performance best practices, with experience collaborating on site optimization to support growth.
  • Expertise in managing budgets and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Perks of the job:

  • Enhanced Annual Leave – 26 Days Plus the Option to Buy Additional Days per year. More time for you to relax, explore, and enjoy life.
  • Vitality Health Care. Stay healthy and happy with our top-notch health coverage.
  • Work from Anywhere – 4 Weeks per year. Embrace the freedom to work remotely abroad for up to 4 weeks per year, allowing you to explore new horizons while staying connected.
  • Enhanced Parental Leave. We support you during those precious family moments.
  • Rail Loan. Commute with ease! Purchase an annual season ticket, expense it through our InPost expenses procedure, and enjoy a more affordable interest free repayment over the year.
  • Volunteering Days. Take a paid day to make a difference in your community.
  • Hybrid Working (Role suitability dependent). We innovate, collaborate and optimise by coming together 3 days per week in the office.
  • Bring Your Dog to Work Day (Every Friday). Make every Friday pawsitively amazing!

The InPost process:

We pride ourselves on our candidate experience. We want to make this as straightforward as possible, for you and for us! We will try our best to get back to you within a few days to let you know if we’d like to take you to the first stage. This normally involves a 20 minute chat with our Talent Team. If we both feel the connection, you’ll then go through another one or two stages, depending on the level of the role.
