About the role:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Packer/Driver to join our Kendal depot team! Our team are responsible for delivering world-class delivery service and time critical to our retail customer base.
You will work closely with our Operational Team, who will support you to execute a busy multi-drop schedule. You will be responsible for delivering parcels to our clients and will be fully equipped to do so, driving one of our modern vehicles and having full access to our advanced track/trace technology.
Our customers rely on us to deliver our promises, and we rely on our Packer/drivers to ensure each delivery reaches our customers on time, in perfect condition and with a contagious smile.

Location:Unit 2/Westmorland Business Park/Gilthwaiterigg La, Kendal LA9 6NS
Shift Pattern:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday
Hours:35hrs per week
Salary: £12.70p/h
What you’ll be doing:
Approx 4 hours Warehouse / Approx 3 hours of delivery driving.
- Following process to organise and sort product into individual routes
- Packing product accurately for individual customers
- Loading vechicle safely in accordance with our H&S procedures
- Uploading of vehicle with counterbalance (FLT) FULL TRAINING PROVIDED
- Nightly pre/post vehicle check
- Following agreed route and process to deliver to customer premises ( approx 18-30 drpos)
- Accurate scanning and tracking of all deliveries
- Collection of customer returns
- Uploading returned product at depot prior to de-brief
What we need from you:
- Full UK driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
- At least 3 years driving experience
- No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
- Solid local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses & streets
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi drop driving and warehouse role
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
- Undergo a background check and random drug & alcohol tests
