As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, optimising mechanical sortation processes, and leading a talented team towards achieving outstanding results. Hours: 00:00am - 09:00am

What you’ll be doing:
- Run daily operations: Manage and improve the day-to-day running of the warehouse so everything works smoothly.
- Improve performance: Find ways to boost efficiency, cut costs, and track key metrics to keep improving.
- Keep things moving: Work with the Operations Manager to make sure parcels are sorted, processed, and sent out correctly.
- Lead the team: Train, support, and motivate staff to do their best work.
- Work with others: Communicate and collaborate with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
- Follow procedures: Make sure everyone sticks to standard processes for consistent and high-quality work.
- Focus on safety: Ensure all health and safety rules are followed and the workplace is safe.
- Manage the shift: Take responsibility for how each shift runs and performs.
- Handle driver briefings: Run clear and organised driver briefings before and after shifts.
- Keep the warehouse tidy: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow company rules: Make sure company policies and standards are always followed.
What we need from you:
- Leadership experience: Experience managing a team, ideally in a warehouse or logistics setting, with knowledge of sorting systems.
- Warehouse knowledge: Understand how warehouse operations work and how to improve efficiency.
- Team leadership: Able to motivate and guide a team to achieve goals.
