We’re leading the logistics revolution, powering deliveries across the UK for some of the nation’s biggest high-street and online brands. Whether you’re handling parcels, coordinating routes, or managing depot operations, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards and efficiency. InPost is seeking skilled and motivated Warehouse Operatives to become an integral part of our dynamic Parcel Sorting Team at our Newton Abbot depot. In this role, you’ll be working alongside InPost and its valued customers to support our efficient parcel operations. As a leading provider in the UK logistics industry, InPost operates a vast national network, delivering parcels to a wide range of business-to-business sectors. Our expertise spans high-profile clients across major retail, office, education, and light industrial markets.
Location: 20 Battle Road, Heathfield, Newton Abbot TQ12 6TN
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
Hours: 15:00 - 01:30
Salary: £12.71 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- Cover a variety of roles within the warehouse environment to support the overall distribution and operational process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at all times.
- Sort parcels to assist with the smooth running of operations, including relabelling items where required to ensure correct processing and delivery.
- Sort parcels manually and with warehouse machinery, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Carry out general warehouse duties to maintain a clean, organised, and productive working environment.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and support colleagues across the warehouse.
- Load and unload deliveries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring parcels are handled with care.
