Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK's leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.

At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.

About the role:

The Regional Sales Manager – North UK will spearhead merchant acquisition and parcel volume growth across the region, leading a high-performing team of Business Development Managers (BDMs). This is a senior, ecommerce-focused sales leadership role, responsible for engaging and onboarding new retailers to adopt InPost as their preferred out-of-home delivery solution on their websites.

You will combine strategic planning with hands‐on leadership, driving new retailer wins, increasing parcel volumes, and embedding InPost as a core part of merchants' ecommerce delivery proposition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver Volume & Revenue Growth
    • Own and deliver merchant acquisition, parcel volume, and revenue growth across the Northern region.
    • Drive adoption of InPost solutions at ecommerce checkout, positioning InPost as a preferred delivery option.
  • Sales Strategy & Market Planning
    • Analyse regional market trends, ecommerce behaviours, customer needs, and competitor activity.
    • Identify opportunities to accelerate retailer onboarding and parcel volume growth.
    • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with InPost's UK growth objectives.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management
    • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a team of field-based Business Development Managers.
    • Set clear targets for merchant onboarding, parcel volume, and revenue performance.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
  • Sales Operations & Execution
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the regional sales team.
    • Ensure consistent use of CRM tools (HubSpot) and adherence to sales processes from pipeline management through to deal execution.
    • Maintain strong forecasting discipline and pipeline visibility.
  • Merchant & Stakeholder Relationships
    • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key ecommerce merchants and strategic partners.
    • Act as an escalation point for complex commercial discussions and customer issues.
    • Ensure a best-in-class merchant experience throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Reporting & Data-Driven Insight
    • Produce accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
    • Use data and insights to continuously optimise sales approach and regional strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Network, Logistics, Customer Success, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure sales commitments align with operational capabilities.
    • Share merchant feedback and industry insights to inform go‐to‐market strategy, product development, and marketing initiatives.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for people who are ready for a fast paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today’s stuff done, whilst building for the future. We’re looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.

  • Experience in sales, with significant time spent in sales leadership or management roles.
  • Strong preference for experience within logistics, ecommerce, parcel delivery, or last‐mile solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales, volume, and revenue targets.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop field‐based sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce ecosystems, checkout integration, and merchant acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Confident user of HubSpot CRM and modern sales enablement tools.
