At InPost, we are looking for exceptional full-time Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to join our team and help drive operational excellence in our parcel sortation operations. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, optimising mechanical sortation processes, and leading a talented team towards achieving outstanding results. Location: Unit 3 Inpost, Stourton, Leeds LS10 1AZ

Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday

Hours: 09:00 - 17:30

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum

What you’ll be doing:

• Take charge of overseeing and optimising the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring seamless execution across all activities and departments.
• Develop and implement strategies that drive performance improvements, reduce operational costs, and maximise efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs closely to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and success.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate sorting, processing, and dispatching of parcels, driving a smooth operational flow from start to finish.
• Lead, train, and inspire a high-performance warehouse team. Provide mentorship and guidance, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration, ensuring smooth operations throughout the business.
• Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency, efficiency, and quality at all times.
• Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and creating a safe working environment for your team.
• Take full control of managing all aspects of the OLA shift, ensuring optimal productivity and performance.
• Oversee and control all aspects of driver pre- and de-briefings, ensuring clear communication and seamless operations.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and fully compliant with safety standards to create an efficient and professional environment.
• Consistently adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring the highest operational standards and integrity.

What we need from you:

• Significant experience in a supervisory role, ideally within a parcel sortation or logistics warehouse, with a solid understanding of automated sortation systems and/or non-automated processes.
• Strong background in warehouse flow management and a proven ability to optimise processes and drive operational efficiency.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving ambitious goals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems and relevant technology tools that enhance operational performance and efficiency.
• Ability to excel in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and upholding the highest standards.
• A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and a dedication to maintaining operational excellence.
• FLT Counterbalance licence: Desirable but not essential.
