Oak Haven School is a nurturing, inclusive, and specialist SEMH setting for Key Stage 2 to 4 learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Our mission is to provide a safe, empowering environment where every young person is supported to Empower, Heal, and Thrive.
Newly established in September 2025, we are now looking for a Teaching Assistant Level 1+ to join our team.
Working in partnership with the Class Teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants, the successful candidate will work with learners with social emotional and mental health needs both in class and during breaktimes.

Responsibilities
- Support learners with social, emotional and mental health needs in class and during breaktimes.
- Collaborate with the Class Teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants to plan and deliver learning activities.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will either possess a level 2 or GCSE (level 9-4, A-C or equivalent) in English and Maths; or be prepared to work towards these qualifications.
- The successful candidate will also either possess or be prepared to work towards a QCF Level 2 in Teaching and Learning.
