Tameside Council is seeking an Employment Officer to join the Employment and Skills Service, working with Children’s Services to help young people aged 15-18 (or up to 24 if care-experienced or EHCP) into work or further education. The role involves building partnerships with Careers Guidance, Leaving Care Team, JCP and post-16 providers.
The position is funded on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2027, with potential extension to March 2029.
