My Stock Market listed PLC client is currently seeking a Trade Counter Assistant for their busy, thriving Branch located in Cambridge.

Previous experience working on a busy Trade Counter is NOT necessary as they will provide a great deal of training for the right person. We are more focused on speaking to candidates with the following attributes:

  • Cash Handling Experience
  • Great levels of Customer Service
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
  • Customer Facing Experience – dealing with people face-to-face
  • Good knowledge of IT
  • A driving license is ESSENTIAL, as a part of the role may involve delivering customers goods locally.
  • An FLT License would be beneficial, however not essential.

As specialists within their sector, they have a Trade Counter Network of around 250+ branches and have experienced a huge amount of growth in recent years.

They are extremely keen on promoting from within and there is a great deal of scope with this position to advance through the business to Supervisor, Branch Manager and beyond!

Day to Day Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Supervisor and Branch Manager in achieving sales targets for the Trade Counter.
  • Route planning, safe driving and keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy.
  • Picking and loading products ready for delivery.
  • Provide excellent levels of Customer Service whilst supporting new and existing customers.
  • Maintaining Branch standards in line with Health & Safety.
  • Stock management, Warehousing duties as well as front of house operations.
